Changing the future of digital payments takes strong leadership.
Are you a leader who wants to drive change and continuous improvement through an agile mind-set?
Do you have what it takes to develop and deliver software that provides mission-critical services to Blue Chip Banking and Financial Services Clients across Europe?
We are looking for leaders who live, breath and relish these challenges. Your success will be determined not just by your qualification and professional acumen, but also from the experience you bring and your personality and ambition to make a difference.
You’ll be powering an easier tomorrow for all!
We are on an exciting growth journey. We’ve set out to make it easier and more intuitive for people to make payments and for our Clients to handle payments. Visa or Mastercard, Acquiring or Issuing – you name it and we are doing it, because we see it as the foundation for growth and progress both in commerce and society.
As Technology Leader in Product Engineering, you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues.
This is a complex role, and we are looking for a person who is capable of spanning many technologies in scope and is also able to manage the stakeholders within and outside the company. A person who will be a part of a team of Technology leaders with a vision for continuous improvement within the value chain. And one who will be able to define and implement a roadmap and not just to follow.
Your main objective will be to drive the continued transformation of the delivery processes, tools and platforms through an agile methodology (we use SAFe) building great products and services for our Clients.
You will work closely with internal teams (Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Finance, etc.) and external suppliers whilst also having the ability to engage Clients and their teams.
As a Leader you will be expected to lead and influence all those around you, selling the vision and championing the way forward.
Together, we can power the future as a European payments champion.
Mercury Processing Services International, is a part of Nets Group, a Private Equity backed enterprise based in Copenhagen. However, Mercury PSI and this role are both located in Zagreb, Croatia.
Together we are a fast-growing tech company with the ambition of being the European payment champion. We are already of substantial size, with 200+ Banks and Financial Services Clients across Europe. To these Clients, we provide secure and critical payments infrastructure, whilst also innovating with biometrics, AI and voice assistants.
You contribute with skills, ambitions and that little personal twist that makes us succeed.
It’s the full package that you bring to work every day that gets the job done. Your professional acumen and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s your personality that makes the difference to succeed in this role. Especially the little twists we all have that makes us personalities instead of just a person.
Ideally, you have an IT or Computer science degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience with software development.
Your professional qualifications include:
- +5 years of experience in a ”Head of role” type role
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken as our Business language is English
- Agile software development methodology (ideally SAFe)
- Experience in defining and implementing roadmaps
- Stakeholder management within and outside of technology organisation
- Client facing communication skills and capabilities
- Strong leadership, coaching and influencing skills
On a personal side, you are hands-on and able to adapt to a fast-changing environment. You can stand your ground when needed and able to deliver high quality under tight deadlines. You should have strong analytical, structured and problem-solving skills and be a strong communicator.
We ask a lot, but we give a lot too!
If you are ready for new challenges, send us your CV on firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to meeting you!
