As Senior Manager in Product Stability & Security, you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues.

This is a complex role, and we are looking for a person who is capable of spanning many technologies in scope and is also able to manage the stakeholders included in the business.

A person who will be a part of the Product Stability and Security team will enable the fulfilment of the strategic theme of “Stable and Secure” through strong governance, continuous improvement, continued innovation and support of employees and culture development. You will collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure continuous improvement in quality, predictability, T2M and team satisfaction while maintaining a stable and secure product delivery and add value to our Customers.

You will make decisions on who, when and how to involve to resolve impediments to ensure stable and secure products, assume responsibility and safeguard regarding SLAs and continuous improvement to achieve the goals. Additionally, your inputs will be valuable for Product Roadmap, as well as skills and capacity management.

Your main responsibility will be ensuring compliance and focusing on delivering and maintaining stable and secure applications as well as ensuring high standards of quality management. Your employees are the best tool to achieve the goals!

As a Senior Manager, you will be expected to lead and influence all those around you, selling the vision and championing the way forward.

Mercury Processing Services International is a part of Nets Group, a Private Equity backed enterprise based in Copenhagen. However, Mercury PSI and this role are both located in Zagreb, Croatia.

We are open to candidates who want to relocate.

Together we are a fast-growing tech company with the ambition of being the European payment champion. We are already of substantial size, with 200+ Banks and Financial Services Clients across Europe. To these Clients, we provide secure and critical payments infrastructure, whilst also innovating with biometrics, AI and voice assistants.

It’s the full package that you bring to work every day that gets the job done. Your professional acumen and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s your personality that makes the difference to succeed in this role. Especially the little twists we all have that makes us personalities instead of just a person.

Ideally, you have an IT or Computer science degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience with software development.

Your professional qualifications include:

  • +5 years of experience in a ”Head of ” type role
  • High proficiency in English, both written and spoken as our Business language is English
  • Solid production environment understanding
  • Extend knowledge of ITSM activities
  • Deep knowledge and experience in delivery Framework
  • Hands-on experience in roles as Application owner, IT Operations or InfoSec
  • Extend knowledge of DevOps practices
  • Experience in Scaled Agile software development methodology (ideally SAFe)
  • Strong leadership, coaching and influencing skills

On a personal side, you are hands-on and able to adapt to a fast-changing environment. You can stand your ground when needed and able to deliver high quality under tight deadlines. You should have strong analytical, structured and problem-solving skills and be a strong communicator.
